My physical body was breaking down, and my mental health was being affected by it. Technically at the age of 30 I was breaking down. Spending two years trying to "fix" diagnose, figure it all out... then yoga was introduced to me! I still needed the western medical model for some of my ailments, something triggered within me the very first time I stepped on my mat.
Yoga became the cornerstone of my healing journey. After being diagnosed with multiple ailments (including: fibromyalgia, PCOD, chronic fatigue, irritable bowel, chronic pain, scleroderma and prescribed over 8 different medications. : "First, I found yoga; then, my practice led me on an incredible journey!"
Not one day goes by without me giving grace and gratitude to my mat.
I dedicate myself to helping individuals reconnect with their bodies, breath, and lives through yoga, bodywork, and mindful mentoring. My own yoga journey began as I faced health challenges, and over the years, these practices have empowered me to rebuild my strength, soothe my nervous system, and achieve a profound sense of balance. Now, I share the essential tools that aided my transformation: movement, breath, stillness, and awareness.
Nicky’s journey of professional and personal development has taken her to unique places for study, healing, and growth. In her classes, she artfully blends various styles and modalities, creating a customized experience tailored to the specific needs of all participants.
Every BODY is unique. Yet, many BODIES share similar challenges. With Nicky's approach, there are no standard scripts or pre-planned classes. She skillfully assesses the room and the individuals within it, adjusting her direction as needed to provide optimal support. Well-versed in modifications, alignments, and adjustments, Nicky comprehends firsthand how chronic diagnoses, injuries, and life changes—both tragic and non-tragic—can impact the connection between the body, mind, and soul.
Nicky is trained and proficient in a wide array of yoga styles, she has the ability to lead and achieve results for all who attend.
I approach leadership as embodied, systems-focused practice. Leaders lead from clarity of purpose and steady regulation — cultivating self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and consistent habits that model resilience for their teams.
I prioritize practical structures: clear roles, decision frameworks, and feedback loops that turn vision into repeatable action. Leadership development combines one-on-one mentorship, hands-on practice, and measurable milestones so growth is both felt and tracked.
My style centers enabling others: I coach leaders to distribute authority, build psychological safety, and create conditions where teams innovate and sustain performance without burnout.
Everything I recommend is trauma-informed and evidence-based, blending somatic regulation, strategic systems design, and accountable implementation to create leaders who are calm under pressure and effective in impact.
